Beautiful hand-baked loaves.Learn to bake organic artisan loaves  and discover how to  maximise the flavour and keeping quality of even a relatively ‘quick’ loaf of bread. The focus is on mastering simple basic techniques and showing how they can be used to create an attractive variety of different loaves. By the end of our course you will be able to:

  • Choose healthy flour
  • Mix and knead a beautiful, elastic dough
  • Judge when the dough is perfectly risen
  • Know when to put it in the oven
  • And when to take it out!Beginners

You will have lots of your own hand-baked loaves to take home , our e-book Artisan Bread for Beginners explaining all the recipes, tips and techniques, and memories of a fun-filled, floury day at The Artisan Bakery School.

Level: for novices and ‘false beginners’ – i.e. made a few loaves, but not happy with results.

Course Days: on application.  10am – 2pm
